As new East Coast Hydrogen consortium members, Flonidan is proud to express our full support for the landmark initiative by Cadent, National Gas, and Northern Gas Networks that’s helping to define the UK’s path to net zero.

As a Danish manufacturer with a strong legacy in the UK, having supplied over 1 million smart gas meters, we are committed to playing an active role in the hydrogen transformation of the energy sector.

Our research and development team is currently advancing hydrogen-ready versions of our Industrial E6 AMI and SMETS2 SciFlo® ultrasonic meters, engineered to support up to 100% hydrogen. We are also exploring AMI solutions with capacities up to U40, aimed at enabling safe and accurate metering of hydrogen in larger-scale applications.
